Help Wanted – Operations Manager for Fairbanks Tennis Association 2019 season.

This is a part time position that runs from April through October, and averages 15 hours a week during its busiest part of the season. The Operations Manager is responsible for promoting, implementing and overseeing tennis programs offered by FTA. The Operations Manager assists in hiring necessary employees for the season, provides logistical support, attends FTA related meetings, works closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the success of FTA programs and events. The qualified applicant must be organized, approachable, proficient with computers and media software, must have flexibility to be present at the courts throughout the tennis season and reliable transportation.

If selected for an interview, applicant will provide a background check through Alaska State Troopers. Pursuant to hire, the Operations Manager must provide a background check through Fairbanks North Star Borough School District also.

Looking for qualified coaches, summer tennis instructors, on-court assistants, high-school and middle-school tennis coaches for the upcoming high school tennis season. Positions include:

  • Summer Tennis Instructors

  • High School Tennis Coaches
  • Middle School Coach
